Steel Gates

Steel gate install

Our steel gates are custom-fabricated from the ground up — sized, designed, and finished specifically for your property. Whether you need a single pedestrian gate or a wide double driveway gate, we build it to last decades, not years.

We work with flat bar, square tube, and round bar steel depending on the look you're after. All welds are ground and finished to a professional standard before any coating is applied. Gates can be powder coated in any colour or left raw for a more industrial aesthetic.

Every gate we make is hung on site by our own team, not subcontracted out. We set the posts, level the frame, and make sure the swing is smooth and the latch is solid before we leave.

Sliding Gates

Sliding gate install

Sliding gates are the practical choice when you don't have the space for a swing gate, or when you need a heavy-duty solution for high-traffic driveways. We build both manual and automated sliding gates, and we handle the full installation including the track, rollers, and motor if needed.

The gate itself is fabricated in steel — the same heavy gauge material we use across all our work. We don't build lightweight frames that bend or warp over time. The track system is set into concrete for a solid, level run that stays true season after season.

Automated sliding gates come with a motor unit, remote controls, and a safety stop mechanism. We work with reputable motor brands and can advise on the right capacity for your gate's weight.

Colorbond Fencing

Colorbond fence install

Colorbond is the go-to fencing solution for Melbourne homeowners who want a clean, low-maintenance boundary that holds up year-round. We supply and install the full range of Colorbond colours and profiles, and we build it properly — posts set in concrete, rails sitting level, panels aligned from one end to the other.

We've seen plenty of Colorbond jobs done badly: posts that lean, rails that aren't secured, or panels that weren't cut cleanly around obstacles. Our installs don't look like that. We take the time to do it right the first time.

Colorbond can run alongside timber retaining walls, up against steel gates, or around pools — we handle the transitions and tie-ins so the whole fence line looks intentional rather than patched together.

Blended Fences

A blended fence combines steel framework with Colorbond infill panels, timber slats, or other cladding materials to create something with more visual character than a standard fence. It's a popular choice for front yards where the fence is part of how the property presents to the street.

The steel frame gives the fence its structural backbone — posts, rails, and any decorative horizontal or vertical members. We then fit the infill material of your choice, whether that's Colorbond sheeting, hardwood timber, or a combination of the two.

We help you work through the design options during the quote, including post spacing, infill pattern, and how the gate will integrate with the fence line. The goal is a finished product that looks considered, not just functional.

Retaining Walls

Retaining walls hold back soil on sloped or terraced properties. When they're built right, they last decades without moving. When they're not, they crack, lean, and fail — often taking the fence above them with it. We build them to hold.

We work primarily with steel post and timber sleeper retaining walls, which are the most common residential solution in Melbourne. The steel posts go into the ground to a depth that matches the height of the wall — that depth is what actually holds everything in place. We don't cut corners on post length or concrete footing depth.

For larger walls or properties with significant ground movement, we can discuss alternative approaches during the quote. We'll tell you honestly what we think the right solution is, not just what's easiest to build.

Decking

We build decks on steel frames — not treated pine subframes that soften and move over time. A steel subframe means the deck stays level, the boards don't bounce, and the structure isn't degraded by moisture sitting underneath it year after year.

Decking boards go over the top: hardwood, composite, or treated pine depending on your budget and preference. We'll advise on the right board choice for your situation — a shaded south-facing deck has different requirements from one that bakes in afternoon sun.

We also handle the balustrade if you need one, which we fabricate in steel to match any gate or fence work we've done for you. Everything gets finished as a single coherent job, not a collection of separately contracted bits.

Raw Iron Steel Fences

Raw iron fence icon

Raw iron fencing is left uncoated — the steel is allowed to oxidise naturally over time, developing a deep rust patina that becomes the finish. It's an industrial aesthetic that suits warehouse conversions, contemporary homes, and properties where the fencing is meant to make a statement rather than blend in.

The raw look isn't just about aesthetics — it also means no powder coat to chip, no paint to blister, and no maintenance to speak of beyond an occasional inspection. The patina stabilises over time and actually forms a protective layer on the surface of the steel.

We fabricate raw iron fences using the same heavy-gauge materials as our other work. The design can be as minimal or as elaborate as you want — flat vertical bars, geometric patterns, or a combination of profiles. We'll sketch up a few options during the quote.

Onsite Welding

Onsite welding is ideal when a repair, adjustment, or custom steel fix needs to happen in place rather than back in the workshop. Whether it's a broken gate hinge, a damaged fence panel, a steel frame repair, or a last-minute modification, we can come to site and sort it properly.

We handle structural repairs, temporary fixes, and custom fabrication work that needs to be completed on location. That means less downtime, fewer delays, and less hassle for you when the job can't be removed and taken away.

Our onsite welding service is suited to residential, commercial, and industrial jobs where reliability matters. We bring the tools, the experience, and the workmanship needed to get the job done safely and cleanly.
